John Adams was seckent president of the USA . His frends name is Thomas Jefferson. Adams and Thomas died on the same day. Adams maried A woomen named Abegil. The Adams family had five chilgin but one died yun . Adams was the vise president for Washington.
We enjoyed learning about John Adams too. He was afraid that he would be forgotten. I didn't really know anything about him but I did know things about Washington (before him) and Jefferson (after him). For me, he kind of was forgotten!
ReplyDeleteHe was an interesting man and his wife was a special lady. (Did you know that she taught her children at home - her son, a homeschooler, went on to be President!)
Nan and I just read an interesting book from the library called "Worst of Friends" by Suzanne Tripp Jurmain. It was about John Adams and Thomas Jefferson. They were best friends and then they were enemies and then they were best friends again. I think you might like it too!
