For Real: Life Update

I haven't posted in awhile - today seemed like a good day.  I'm currently hiding on the computer while my kids eat lunch.  I've spent most of the morning arguing with a child about school.  Apparently wanting them to know how to read makes me a jerk. 

Trevor turned 40 last week.  This is how we spent his birthday!  Jeremiah had an accident with a drill that required stitches.  We have amazing friends that brought us treats in the ER.  It is a birthday none of us will forget. 

My garden looks like this.

I am getting tomatoes out of it but nothing else.  My moms garden, as always looks amazing.  She is done canning for the year so we benefit from her green thumb.  This is how I've spent my evenings this week.

Eliana has finished with all the paper work for her silver award.  They are still sorting caps to make into a bench.  This is the current state of my  house.  I can't handle this much longer! 

It really feel like a Monday here!  I hope your day is going better than mine.  I've never been so thankful  that our monthly homeschooling meeting is tonight!
