31 Days Soda Free

January is over!  Wow that month went fast!  I just wanted to give you an update on a few of my goals.  If you want to see what all I'm hoping to accomplish this year and see what I have already crossed off the list here is the LINK

The biggest thing I have accomplished this month is no soda.  For those of you that know we well you know this is not the 1st time I've tired to break my addiction.  This time I didn't give myself weekly treats.  This is the longest solid stretch I have been soda free since the twins were born.  I'm not gonna lie - the first 2 weeks were awful.  I had a migraine headache every day.  I finally caved and bought caffeinated water.  It got me through week 3.  I've been completely caffeine free for about a week and half,  except for the occasional hot chocolate.   Today is the first day I woke up and didn't immediately think about drinking a Coke.  Because of that I'm pretty sure I can't ever have another one.

We started a Literary society.  You can read about that HERE.

Trevor and I had a date night and tried a new restaurant in town.  We were not impressed and will not be back.  Honestly we don't expect the place to be open long.  It was a Saturday night and there were only 2 tables of people in the whole place.

There are a few things that I wanted to do monthly but they didn't happen in January.  I'll be playing catch up on the following.
Freezer Cooking
Something crafty
Having a family over for dinner

Over all I was pretty pleased when I looked over the list.  Only 11 more months in 2018!  What things have you accomplished in January?  What do you still want to do before December?
