This was the first year I have participated in a reading challenge. I didn't cross everything off of the list. I did read a lot of books I would not have normally picked up! Here is what I did read:

A book recommended by a librarian, Kattie recommended: Endurance: A Year in Space, A Life Time of Discovery by Scott Kelly
A banned book: The Great Gilly Hopkins by Katherine Paterson
A memoir: Educated by Tara Westover
A book by an author of a different race, ethnicity or religion: Reading Lolita in Tehran by Azar Nafisi
