Meal Plan: School Version

We start school on Tuesday.   As always I'm trying to get everything planned so our days run smoothly.  My biggest challenge seems to be lunch.  Trying to feed everyone plus still get school done seems to be a major time sucker.  A couple of years ago I tried letting the kids cook lunch.  In theory it sounded great, but it didn't work for us at all.  You can read about what we tried HERE.

This year I decided to try eating the same thing each week.  It will help with budgeting.  It will help with meal planning.  I'm praying it makes lunch time efficient.  If you follow my weekly meal plan post for the rest of the year those will only have our dinner plans in the post.  Here is what we're planning for breakfast and lunch.


Breakfast: 

Monday:  Breakfast Burritos
Tuesday:  Pancakes
Wednesday:  Eggs/Sausage
Thursday:  Smoothies
Friday:  French Toast
Saturday:  Fruit/Yogurt
Sunday:  Cereal


Lunch: 

Monday:  Chicken Nuggets
Tuesday:  Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwiches
Wednesday:  Toasted Cheese
Thursday:  Quesadillas
Friday: Homemade Lunchables
Saturday:  Sandwiches

We will also have veggies, cottage cheese, applesauce, fruit, chips and string cheese to go with our lunches each day.
