2nd Annual Presidents' Day

This is the second year I have hosted a Presidents' Day.  It is fun to see the different ways the families incorporate teaching us about a president.  Since we are studying ancient history this year, I let Eliana pick which president she wanted to do.  Her choice was her dad's favorite - Abraham Lincoln. 

Eliana made Mary Lincoln's famous almond cake.  She did a great job and it tasted wonderful.
