Winter Fun: Build a Gingerbread House 2014

A few years ago we discovered that the kits you buy are hard to assemble and never get eaten.  After that realization we started buying the candy we like to eat and using graham crackers to make our houses.   Here are this years finished projects!

Every year Eliana gets more detailed.  This year she made a man out of candy and a fence out of tootsie rolls!

This is the first year Asher really made his own house without the help of someone else.

Doesn't everyone else use a hammer when making gingerbread houses?  Josiah is crushing peppermints to make snow.     His house would not stay together.  He forbid me from putting a picture of it on the internet!
