Summer Fun: Go Camping

We have only camped with the kids in our backyard and by my grandparents pond.  We decided this year we wanted to try camping away from home and see how everyone did.  The fall like weather earlier this summer was perfect for a weekend trip.  We headed to southern Illinois, still close enough that we could head home if things went bad.  Everyone had a great time - until we encountered the snake.  Here are a few pictures of our weekend!

We asked the boys to find kindling for the fire, Asher came back with this!

Eliana worked on a girl scout badge while we were gone.  She cooked dinner for us one evening.
