Art Adventures at Home

That is the name of the art curriculum we are using this year.  The kids and I are loving it.  Today we read about non-representational art.  We looked at pieces by  Kandinsky, Mondrian, Pollack and Klee.  Here are the kids pieces:

Help Eliana support the Troops!

When we signed Eliana up for Girl Scouts, we knew about cookie sales, but we had no idea how many other things Girl Scouts sell through out the year.  Right now she is selling nuts, chocolate & magazine subscriptions.  You can find the link to her personal site here.  What Eliana has decided to do is to support the troops.  
Her council does offer a donation option rather than purchasing products.  This year they are offering a $5 donation to purchase nuts for our deployed military.  Eliana has decide to focus on that and has set of goal of 25 people.  Would you like to help her reach her goal?  All money needs to be collected by November 2nd.  You can send a check made out to troop 2065 to us.   Thanks for your support - we would love for her to reach or exceed her goal!

Me and my dad went in the car and we were talking.  Then we got the football game.  We had to find the place for the tickets.  We found the tickets and then we got popcorn.  We then found a seat.  There was a lady behind us that was annoying.  She kept yelling "come on panthers"  over and over again.  It was very annoying.  I had fun watching the cheerleaders.  Then a little before half time we went and got some chips.  The cheese was so yummy.  I loved the football game.  The Panthers won!  YIPPEE!
